Anna Lunoe

Since 2006, Anna Lunoe has left a trail of exhausted crowds and dance fans. Clubs throughout Australia have become her playground as promoters fly her between cities every weekend to spin. She is a festival favorite including appearances at Big Day Out, Splendour in the Grass, Parklife, Field Day & Falls Festival, inching closer to the top of the bill with each passing year. When international artists like Diplo, Daft Punk, M.I.A, Atrak and Soulwax visit Australia it's highly likely Anna will support, throwing down sets that had everyone's tongues wagging.

Anna has trekked the globe, playing at renowned parties including Flashing lights in NYC, Mad Decent & Dim Mak joints in LA, Raves in Kansas City and across the Atlantic at Ed Banger soirees in Paris, Vice shows through the UK, Razzamatazz in Spain, and Rust in Copenhagen.

In 2009, Ministry of Sound awarded Anna the prestigious title of being the first female to record a mix and created [Clubbers Guide to 2010, mixed alongside Axwell & Hook N Sling] that went gold in the snap of a glowstick.

Kicking off 2011, Anna performed across Australia on the Big Day Out tour, completed a month long USA club tour, wowed Japan for MTV and announced her return to Splendour In The Grass [with her all-girl DJ crew Hoops] while leaping further into the production world. Her first original production, a disco-inspired collaboration with Wax Motif called ‘Love Ting’ reaching #12 on the national independent radio charts & spent a whopping 3 months in the Aria Dance charts.

When international brands like Fendi, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Hugo Boss need party jams for their shows, locally or internationally, Anna can be found behind the decks looking as graceful as the catwalk models.

Since starting on radio over 5 years ago, Anna influenced numerous fledgling DJs and steered clubbers towards breaking genres in the world of bassline & bashment sounds. She continues to host her popular radio slot on tastemaker radio station FBi 94.5 each week.

It could be her vast musical knowledge drawn from a childhood spent listening to records with her musician father.Maybe it’s her refined skill of blending the most compelling underground tunes into seamless hours of musical power.
